Technologic Systems GTK Example

gtktest.c is an example program that demonstrates basics of GUI development on
the TS-7390. A typical setup is to develop on a Linux PC with glade2 or greater
installed and then compile directly on the TS-7390 using the 'make' command.
General setup instructions are outline below.

* Included Files:
    /root/gtk_example_7390/
    |-- Makefile # Main compilation file. Called with 'make'
    |-- gtktest            # TS-7390 ARM binary
    |-- gtktest.c          # Source code
    |-- mainwindow.glade # XML file generated by Glade containing GUI design
    |-- pingtest # Script to be ran by gtktest application
    |-- README.txt         # This document
    `-- tmpfs
        `-- output # A temp results file that gtktest uses for PASS or FAIL

* Required Packages:
    libgtk2.0-dev
    libglib2.0-dev
    libglade2-dev
    pkg-config
    libvte-dev

* Setup Packages Steps:
    01.) Get IP address and update apt-get.
         * dhclient && apt-get update
    02.) Remove large packages to free up space. One suggestion is to remove
           iceweasel, apache, gdb, and xpaint.
              -- Note: By running the following command, you can query for
                       largest packages and remove according to your preferrence
                 * dpkg-query -Wf '${Installed-Size}\t${Package}\n' | sort -n
         * apt-get remove apache* gbd xpaint iceweasel
         * apt-get clean
    03.) Use the following command and verify that you have > 55MB of free space
           on "rootfs". If not, remove some more packages.
         * df -H
    04.) Finally, install the required packages.
         * apt-get install libvte-dev pkg-config libgtk2.0-dev libglib2.0-dev libglade2-dev

* Setup Steps:
    01.) Copy the contents of gtk_example_7390 to /root on the Debian partition
           (partition 4) of the SD card.
         * cp -r gtk_example_7390 /mnt/sdcard/root/
    02.) Insert SD card into TS-7390 and power on the board. Boot to full
           Debian. You may need to bypass the fastboot for this by opening
           xterm on the TS-7390, creating a symlink and restarting
         * ln -sf linuxrc-sdroot linuxrc; save; shutdown -r now
    03.) When in the full Debian environment, change current working directory
           to /root/gtk_example_7390 by opening xterm
         * cd /root/gtk_example_7390
    04.) Compile and run gtktest.c. If you have not yet setup the software
           packages as outlined above, this will not work.
         * make && ./gtktest
