TS-Linux 3.x boots from a FAT partition on /dev/hda1 using Syslinux (syslinux.zytor.com)

The file syslinux.cfg is read by the syslinux bootloader which then prompts the
user to select the boot mode. The boot prompt is only displayed for 0.1 seconds
before proceeding on to the default boot option. Any console input during the
timeout will cause the bootloader to pause and wait for the user to select the
boot mode.

There are four possible boot options defined in syslinux.cfg:

1) 'linux' (this is the default boot mode)
    root=/dev/hda2

2) 'nfs'
    root=/dev/nfs

3) 'initrd'
    initrd=initrd.gz

4) 'dos'
    boots to C:. You can then boot Linux using Loadlin
